Michelle Wicmandy

Michelle Wicmandy, CEO

Michelle Wicmandy is CEO for Collective Changes, a nonprofit organization that provides business mentors for women’s SMEs in developing nations.

Michelle’s experience spans academia, and marketing in for-profit and non-profit industries. Currently, she serves at the University of Houston-Downtown as a marketing lecturer. Under her guidance, students have been recognized and won awards for projects they entered in contests sponsored by Halliburton and America’s Natural Gas Alliance. In her spare time, she volunteered as a co-advisor for the American Marketing Association collegiate chapter and helped created four marketing conferences that broke attendance records.

Before this, she practiced in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. She worked as a marketing director for an award-winning marketing communications agency where she focused on digital marketing efforts. She has also served as a consultant and training coordinator for the Small Business Development Center in Houston. She led marketing workshops and helped more than 200 entrepreneurs solve their business challenges.
